This landmark legislation authorizes the U.S. State Department to launch music-focused exchange programs and public-private partnerships that promote peace, cross-cultural understanding, and economic growth within the creative industries. The PEACE Act underpins initiatives such as the Global Music Diplomacy Initiative and the American Music Mentorship Program, which leverage music as a strategic tool for international relations and cultural diplomacy.
